Digitalisation has found its way into all areas of life as well as all production and administrative processes. For Schleswig-Holstein, digitalisation is one of the most important tasks of our time. The federal state has set itself the goal of becoming an innovator in digital administration and achieving structured and rapid digitalisation in Schleswig-Holstein so that it can serve as a role model for other regions.

The social and economic change that we are currently experiencing as a result of digitalisation is being assigned high-priority status as an interdepartmental cross-functional task by the state government. All state authorities are dealing with the issue. Each department is taking responsibility for coming up with its own contribution to the region’s joint digitalisation programme.
